Oliva was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California (Goleta). During high school she moved to the Bay Area, then Idyllwild where she attended Idylllwild Arts Academy, a performing arts boarding school. Afterwards, her next move was to Los Angeles, where she worked as an extra on several television shows. Throughout her high school career, Oliva acted, took voice lessons, danced, and competed in improvisation teams.

After graduating high school, she returned to Santa Barbara to study dramatic arts at UCSB. Theater has always been one of her greatest passions, and hopes to continue living a life in the theater arts.
